MASTERTON STOCK SALE.
The Wairavapa Farmers' Co-operative Association, Ltd., Stock Department, report having held their weekly sale at the Masterton yards yesterday, when thoy offered a good yarding of sheep and cattle to a large attendance of buyers. Bidding was brisk, and the whole yarding wns disposed of under the hammer at tbc following prie.es:—Fat and forward ewes, 31s; ewes and wethers, 35s 10d; good w.f. hoggets, 265. 3d to 31s 6d; medium hoggets, 20s, 21s to 24s 4d; empty heifers, £6; springing heifers, £9j yearling steers, £2, £2 10s, £3; yearling heifers, £2 11s, £3 to £3 Is; m.s. yearlings, £6. Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report having offered a small yarding of sheep and cattle at the Masterton sale yesterday. Prices realised were: —Light fat ewes, 28s 10d; w.f. hoggets, to 275; springing heifers, to £13; yearling steers, 25s to £4 4s.
