EXTENSION OF BARRED ZONE

(Reuters Telegrams.) AMSTERDAM, Wednesday. Tho "Norden Taehe" announces a fresh extension of the German barred zone. It concerns the hostile bases on Capo Verde Islands and Pakar (in the vicinity of Cape Verde), in tho adjoining coastal region, also tho barred zone at the. Azores, which has been extended to Madeira. Neutral vessels at present in harbour in tho zone will not be attacked if they proceed to the free sea by the shortest route by January 18th. A sufficient period of grace will be allowed neutral ships who enter the zone without knowing tho extension.
