DUNEDIN, Wednesday.-
Sir James Allen has received a eable-* gram from tho four principal chap** lams connected with the New ZealaacL, Expeditionary Force, asking him to as-*----sure the public that the statement bjf Mr Jamieeon, Y.M.G.A. Commissia&-!-er, regarding neglect of New troops in England, was grossly exaggerated. They state that much hasbeen don.o in many quarters for tho wel*faro and safeguarding of all soldiers.? ; "New Zealand organisations, military*; and civil, are doing all in their power? to protect our boys." The message isc~ signed by Chaplains Burton McDonald,.., Luxford and Richards.
