THE COSY THEATRE.
SPKL'i AL \\O\j\ \)\ V ATTRACTION
I The crowded audience at the Cosy last night fairly rocked with laughter during the screening of the famous comedy, "What Happened to Jones." Most playgoers are familiar with this fine comedy, which has been staged here by Air George Willoughby. In this great pieturisntiou by the World .Film Corporation, Fred Mace, the celebrated comedian, takes the part usually played by Mr Willoughby. "What a tangled web we weave when first we practise to deceive" is the keynote of .lones r happenings. Jones, who travels commercially with hymn-books, and carries playing cards as a side-line, goes to a prize fight. So do Dick lleatherley and his prospective father-in-law. Professor Ebene/.er Goodly. During tho "mill" the police break in and the crowd rapidly disperses. The police got hot on the track of the professor and Dick, who find themselves in the company of Jones. The three fugitives, in a battered condition, arrive, at the Goodly household. Just as they are congratulating themselves on their lucky escape, the police appear upon the scene. "What Happened to Jones" is really as good as a tonic. Another splendid picture on the Cosy bill at present is "The Misleading Lady," a five-part Essanay feature.
