Arrangements are also in hand for the screening in Masterton of the New Zealand Government's war film, "The Battle of the Anere." The V.M.C.A. is to take half proceeds, the New Zealand Government quarter, and a quarter is to be given to any local patriotic body the V.M.C.A. may nominate. The film is over a mile and a half in length, and will probably be screened for three nights. Among the numerous interesting items will be seen the advance of the tanks. This film has not been shown before in New Zealand, and this will be the only opportunity of seeing it. Tho V.M.C.A. authorities are visiting all the. larger towns with the picture. Further particulars will be given later as to the fixed date of the Masterton visit.
