PAHIATUA STOCK SALE.

Messrs Dalgoty aud Co., Ltd.. Masterton, report liaviug held their weekly sale at Pahiatua on Tuesday, when there was a large attendance and a full yarding of both sheep and cattle. There was keen competition for all classes of stock, and a good clearance was made at tho following prices:—Sheep.—Fat and forward wethers, 30s to 32s Gd; medium store Wethors, 2-U 3d to 275; forward empty ewes, 20s to 235; mixed age breeding ewes to S.D. rams, 325; 4. and 5-year breeding ewes to Romney and Lincoln rams, 30s 3d; m.s. hoggets, 18s 4d to 20s Id; cull ewes. Bis 3d; aged Romney rams. 15s. Cattle. —2.1-yoar steers, £9 10s; 2-year steers, £6 IPs; cows in calf, £G 7s-*sd; 2-year empty heifers, £5.
