The mine manager reports (14/7/16): —Stoping has been in hand over tho No. 3 level, and all the quartz broken was saved i'or treatment. In the No. o" face we are now passing through a fairsized break. In the Wynyardton workings E. face lOlbs of picked stone was obtained during the past week from good general dirt. On this reef in thft intermediate workings driving E. ant}' W. is in hand, and the prospects are encouraging.
