Auother big audience assembled at the T. 1 ,. Electric Cinema last evening, and greatly enjoyed the current programme. The popularity of Elinor Glynn's much-discussed work, "Three Weeks,"- , again proved itself. This remarkable story is picturisod into TiOOOft of the most remarkable situations. In the role as Queen. Sonia, Miss Madeline Traverse enacts the part with wondoriul realism, and shows this great artist's capabilities, which become the admiration oi all present. Without doubt the pictuxo presentation far surpasses that of tho written story, and should bo again responsible for attracting another large audience at tho final screening tonight. The final episode of "The Blade Box" is very fine, and is indeed a good finish. Several dramatic, comedy and topical subjects are also shown. Tomorrow's bigjChango will include "Esther .Redeemed, •'' which introduces Miss Tittell Bruno to pictures, and a fiveact World film, ''The Marked Womas. , '

TOWN HALL PICTURES.

A DOUBLE STAB PROGRAMME

Exoollout business continues to rule at. the Town Hall, whore "Up from the Depths," a reliance feature film in .four parts, is the star attraction. The film shows many scenes in the night clubs of New York, and throughout the production the settings are remarkable for their realism and novelty. The leading artists, Courtney Footo and Gladys Brookwell, ably' sustain the characterisations allotted to them. The part of Father White, a. .slum-worker, is pleasantly pourtrayed by Thomas .MYorson, who' was once a groat A.13. favourite. The second star picture of the programme is a iive-roel world-famed Ivan feature, which is considered one of the greatest domostic dramas of all time. It is the story of the unexpected return of a. wife, and is a splendid ladies' play. The supporting features include "V.othaland." a iilm showing interesting events in South-West Africa. The I'athe Cazette maintains its reputation as the best ot" animated news films.

Miss Mary Vickford. the "world's sweetheart." as she is endearingly termed, has never, it is said, been seen to greater advantage than in "Mistress Nell." the Famous Players' HOfXift picture drama, which is to l>o screened at the Town Hall, commencing to-morrow. The picture is from thu celebrated play by (ieo. (.'. Hazelton, and is an altogether i\ew story of the famous .Nell dwvnne, the favourite of the merry monarch, Charles 11.
