PETROGEAD, Wednesday

A considerable Turkish force in Kurdistan, on a ten-mile front, attacked the Russian column advancing on Nineveh (on the east side of the Tigris, opposite Mosul). The attackers wero routed with heavy loss. The Turks are apparently the troops released after tho capitulation of Knt-el-Amara.
