ALLIES RELIEF FUND.
The Overseas Tobacco Fund, which provided the men at the front with that indispensable comfort in the trenches, has profited by the generosity of Tyneside employees to the extent of £2 4s 6d, which will furnish tobacco and cigarettes to the usual value of nearly £9. C. Lang donated 11s 6d, E. Taplin and C. E. Wapp ss, Chas. Bannister 3s, J. Russell, F. R. Wilton, A. Kjestrup and L. Kjestrup 2s 6d each, P. H. AVilton, Ihaia', G. W. Bennett, R. Te Tau and T. R. Andrews 2s each. Any desirous of following their example can direct their contributions to Mr Hebenton's oiiico in Perry street.
