Press Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright

SYDNEY, Wednesday

The Commodities Commission has agreed to the Northern Colliery proprietors' proposal for an increase in the selling price of coal from Its to 12s per ton, f.0.b., at Newcastle, from the first of next month. On behalf of the proprietors, it is pointed out that this is the producers' price, and it does not affect the wholesale or retail prices.
