A VIOLENT ARTILLERY DUEL.
SANGUINARY INFANTRY ACTION,
(Received Tuesday, at 8.15 a.m.) PARIS, Monday. A communique states: A violent artillery duel is taking place at Guinchy. We captured a trench west of Canenchy by a coup-de-main. We repulsed German attacks at Massiges and at Fontaine Madame. A violent infantry action is progressing at Bagatelle. We have maintained our positions.
