TRYING TO RELIEVE PRZEMYSL

LONDON, Thursday

The Daily Mail's Petrograd correspondent states that from twelve to fifteen Austro-German Army Corps are engaged in the advance in the Carpathians. The front is eighty m'les long. An effort is being made to relieve Przemysl. Five days' lighting in the Striji district resulted in very heavy Austrian losses.
