FRENCH PRISONERS TREATED BADLY.
PARIS, Sunday.
A Swiss, who visited a camp of French prisoners in Germany, reports that they are badly fed. The vegetables are not cooked, and the supply of soup is inadequate. They are compelled to work hard, and when they stagger under their burdens they are thrashed and set upon by the guards' dogs. Their quarters are not heated, and a thin layer of straw serves as their bed. There is much sickness, and tho death-roll is high.
