CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHES.

Tho Saturday championship was advanced another stage on Saturday, when Carlton. A met Carlton B, and the former have a good chance of winning the match and thereby annexing tho championship for this season. The Masrorton teams did not play their match, en account of insufficient members attending.

The batting honours were as follows: —Bornio Welch 19, F. Hoar 17, W. Hoar' 15, F. P. Welch 10, T. Voyce U, McWhirtcr 34, 11. Miller 12 and' 12, K. Welch 10, and F. Phillips 10. Bowling honours: F. Phillips 4 for 5. Ainslie 10 for Gl, T. Flaws 2 fo.- 12, A. Styles 2 for 13, C. Welch 3 for 34.
