VERY LITLE CLOTHING A BOARD FOR BELGIANS.
WELLINGTON, Monday
It transpires that the only cargo for the Belgians aboard the Tokomaru was five tons from Gisbome and Hi tons from Napier, and possibly one case of blankets from Wellington for Kitchener's army. Shaw Savill's boats carried altogether 200 tons of gifts for the Belgians, and the Tokomaru had less cargo of this description aboard than any of the other steamers.
