_._inst Queensland by 10 wickets. jtL Queensland, who made 89 in their first innings, compiled 138 in the second — Ayres 35, McLaren 26, Mac Andrew 25 not out. Victoria, with 179 to their credit as the result of their first innings, added the 49 needed to pass their opponents' score without further loss of wickets—Ryder 19 not out, Park 29 not out.

The return match between Victoria and Queensland has commenced. Victoria has scored 155 for four wickets — Ryder 24, Cody 98 not out, Souter 17 not out.
