A SEAMAN'S FATE.

The body of the seaman, Green, who, while working on the steamer Wirral at Lyttelton on Tuesday last, was drowned through being dragged into tho water by a rope which became entangled round the propeller, was discovered last evening. Four men in the launch Ina discovered the body floating near No. 7 wharf. An inquest was held, and a verdict was returned in accordance with the evidence given that deceased met his death through being dragged overboard from the Wirral by a hawser which had become entangled round the propeller.
