WEDDING.

Mckenzie— dalrymple .

A pretty wedding was celebrated at St. Matthew's Church this afternoon, when Miss Elfte Dalrymple, eldest daughter of Mr and Mrs W. Dalrymple, of Masterton, was married to Mr Robert McKenzie, eighth son of Mrs R. McKenzie, of Fernridge. The Rev. E. T. Wynne-Bond, vicar of St. Andrew's, Martinborough, was the officiating clergyman . The bride, who was given away by her father, w r as charmingly attired in a frock of white brocaded crepe de chene, the cross over bodice having a vest of Brussels lace. The skirt, which was draped, had a short tunic falling over it. With this was worn a hat composed of white lace over ninon, and wreathed with white ostrich plumes, which were fastened with a large silk rose. A shower bouquet completed most becoming toilette. Miss Gitflß Dalrymple (sister of the bride) waW bridesmaid, and wore a frock of pale pink crepe de chene, trimmed with mechlin lace and_violet waist belt. Her violet hat was trimmed with leaves of the same shade, and old rose ribbon. Mrs Dalrymple, mother of the bride, wore a navy Bengaline costume, small hat of navy tagel trimmed with salmon velvet and daisies of same shade, and carried a posy of roses and sweet . peas. Mrs McKenzie, mother of the bridegroom, wore a dress of black figured lustre. Mr 11. R. Biss was best man, and Mr Spencer Compton presided at the organ. After the wedding a reception was held at the residence of the bride's parents. The happy young couple left by motor later in the afternoon, the bride wearing a costume of mole gabardine, 'vieux rose hat, trimmed with violet velvet, and small bunches of shaded roses. The honeymoon, will be spent in the Cold Lakes district.
