TOWN HALL PICTURES.

Tho Town Hall was crowded at each of the sessions on Saturday, when "the Tango" programme was shown, tho audience greatly appreciating the bill of fare. There will be no pictures all this week, owing to the Hall being let to the Caledonian Society. Next week, however, the pictures will be resumed, when a particularly good programme will be shown, headed by that great detective mystery, "An Hour Before Dawn" This great picture has drawn crowded houses wherever it has been shown in New Zealand, and the stirring adventures of the female detective, Kate Kirby, will appeal to all. The role of this daring woman is taken by one of the leading American actresses, and is a splendid character study. It is a picture of wonderful realism, gripping the audience with rare intensity.
