ORGAN RECITAL.
The organist of Knox Church, assisted by the choir, quartette party, Miss C. Graham, and Mr F. J. Huun, provided a splendid musical programme at Knox Church last night, before n good sittendanco of tho public. In tho solos played by him on the organ, Mr Taylor displayed an artistic taste and marked ability, which stamped him as an organist much above the average. It •was indeed a pleasure to listen to his masterful playing. The "Comrades' Song of Hope," given by the quartette party, was a very good item, and indicated careful training. Miss C. Gra ; ham sang "Into Thy Hands," and "The Eefuge of tho Soul," and her ■efforts were greatly appreciated. Mr F. J. Hunn, in his numbers, gave an excellent rendering of each solo, the items being "Behold I Stand at the Door" (Jude), and "The Last Muster." The choir, in their selections, "The Sun Shall Be," and "Praise the Lord O Jerusalem," showed considerable attention to detail, and a marked improvement was apparent since Mr Taylor has taken over the duties as •choirmaster.
