FIRE AT WANGANUI.
[By Telegraph —Press Association.] WANGANUI, Thursday. A firo broke out at 2.15 a.m. ?t tho residence of Mrs J.. H. Nixon, Wanganui East, and the building, containing sixteen rooms, was totally destroyed. One of the inmates had a narrow escape. Tho insurances total £500 on the house and £100 on 'the furniture.
