Mr A. Henderson has kindly donated a silver.cup to the winner of the contest between the Mayor and M.P. for Masterton, which takes place at the dog trials next week. The test will be as follows: —Five sheep will be placed about 200 yards from the competitor, will bo required to send out his dog to lead the sheep and bring them to the competitor. He will then have to make his dog drive the sheep through a couple of flags to a yard about 75 yards away, and with the help of the dog, put the sheep in the yard.
