CONSUL SHOT DEAD.
IN RAILWAY CARRIAGE,
POLTCE COMMISSARY KILLS SUSPECT. Press Association—Electric Telecraph-vCopyrigh* TUNIS, Tuesday. M. Batt, the Norwegian Consul, was assasinaited with a revolver in a railway carriage, while travelling between. Bizerta and Tunis. The body was thrown out on the line. The Commissary of Police attempted to question two youths suspected of murdering M. Batt. One of the youths fired at the Commissary, without result. The Commissary then Hred, killing his assailant, and he arrested the second youth.
