NEW STORES AND WORKSHOPS IN SYDNEY. Press Association—Electric Telegraph—Copyright. SYDNEY, Tuesday. Mr Stowe, architect, has submitted to the committee of the North Sydney Council a plan for stores and workshops which the Union Company propose erecting at Ball's Head. It includes the provision of tanks for the storage of twelve thousand tons of oil fuel, also storage for large quantities of coal. The complete scheme involves an expenditure of £100,000. Mr Stowo visited America to study the latest methods of fuel storage, and to secure the best machinery for transporting.
