SETTLER MISSING.

[By Telegraph—Press Association.] GISBOBNE, Wednesday. Mr E. S. Whitehead,- an old in the Morere' district, is missing. , He"W arrived at Morere from Wairoa by coach on Monday afternoon, and set, out to walk home by a short cut, a distance of six or seven miles, including three miles of bush, but did not reach home. A large party is searching the bush. . The missing man is said to have been unwell lately.
