LONDON, Monday

Charles Prior, a breeder, is suing Eustace Loder for sending to Adstock, in Bucks, a mare named Auspicious, which, was suffering from pink-eyed influenza, thereby infecting twenty-three of Prior's mares. Six died, and the stud farm had to be closed, Prior's loss amounting to £20,000. Auspicious was to be mated with Niel Gow. Plaintiff! alleges that Auspicious was sent to Adstock early to escape the infection raging on Loder's farm at Oklconncll, in Ireland.
