Press Association—Rlectnc Tdecranh —Copyriijht, (Received Tuesday, at 10.5 a.m.) PERTH, Tuesday. David Norman has been sentence-d to seven years , imprisonment for the manslaughter of James Murtha at Wangan Hills. Tho Judge commented on the jury's finding Norman guilty of manslaughter instead of murder. A cablegram from Perth on March 19th last stated that a man named David Norman had been arrested on a charge of murdering another man named James Murtha, at Wangan Hills. Deceased's wife kept a boardinghouse, and Norman was employed by her. On the night of March ICth Norman and Murtha quarrelled, and the latter was fatally shot.
