Kooya is at present in most favour for the Masterton Cup. .Racing officials, such as handieappei's and starters, seldom voice opinions as to the running of horses, but Mr •John Daly, the well-known A.-i.C. handicapper, is reported to have said to a Sydney Telegraph scribe that "lie was not altogether pleased with some of the running at the recent Melbourne meetings, and fancied he saw one or two happenings that could only be describe.l. as warm .''
