OBITUARY.
MR T. P. LETT
The death occurred at Taueru^ about f> o'clock this morning of Mr T. 1 , . Lett, a very old and highly esteemed settler of the district. The deceased jiad been in. ill health for some considerable time, and his end was not altogether unexpected. The late Mr Lett ■was til years of age, and had resided in ■the district for about '■'>'> years. He ■was at one time a member of the Trust Lands Trust, ami of the general committee of the Mastorton A. :md P. Association. A widow, one son (Mr J. P. Lett), and two daughters, of "Whareamn. (Misses Annie and Ellen
Lett) arc left to mourn their loss, and they will have the sympathy of a wide » circle of friends hi their bereavement. The late Mr Lett was very popular kvith all classes of the community, owintf to his genial nature and sterling character, and the news of his death ■will be received -with feelings of deep regret throughout the district. The funeral will leave Taneru at l.:jO p.m. on Wednesday, .for the Mas- ■ terton Cemetery.
