BRISBANE, Friday.
A mysterious tragedy occurred at a beardinghouse in Sydney Street, two new arrivals named Arthur Dickenson and A. C. Murdoch being fatally shot.
Another boarder Avas talking to Dickenson on the . verandah, when he noticed blood on his neck. He then suav Murdoch at the end of the verandah loading a gun. aud proceeded V? inform the police. He heard the report of the gun, and Murdoch was found shot in the face. Both Avere dead.
No reason has been discovered for the crime. Dickenson arrived from England a week ago. Murdoch Had been in the house two days, and as far as is known the two had not spoken to e.i.'h oilier.
