BOY IMMIGRANTS.
(By Telegraph. —Prejs Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. Tho recently-formed Wellington Rural Workers' Association decided, when they learned that a number of farm workers were being brought out in tho steamer Ayrshire, to send a representative to Auckland to meet them and explain the labour situation to them. Mr "Rod" Mcßae, of Masterton, went up on this missidn, and he reported by telegraph to-night that ho saw tho immigrants to-day and explained the position fully to them. As a result 27 out of the 51 are coming with him to Wellington on the express leaving Auckland to-night. The Farm Labourers' Union haß undertaken to find position* for the newcomers at a minimum wage of 2~js weekly, and if positions cannot be found, the Union undertakes to keep the immigrants in the meantime, and if the farmers will not employ the boys, the Union will pay their passage Homo.
