SMALLPOX AGAIN.
(Received Tuesday, at 9.20 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Tuesday. An Arab fireman aboard the French mail steamer Caledonia from Noumea to Marseilles, has been attacked by smallpox. The vessel called at Sydney, but as tho disease takes twelve days to develop the patient evidently contracted it at New Caledonia. Necessary precautions have been adopted.
