The Redwing Mine at Cullensville, in, which a number of Mastertonians aro interested,' is now getting to work in earnest. Messrs C. C. Ross and Co. have just .received the following letter from Mr J. Rear don, the manager:— "Work up to the present has been delayed owing to cranks giving out and slipping round tho shaft. We are now cutting slots for key-way in shaft, and will finish to-day, when sinking will be continued. We were getting on well when this happened, and stopped" tho pumps. Tho shaft is now down 24ft, and dries easily when punips aro going. I.hope to have a better report shortly, as it is only a matter of a few days to get down another 20ft. "
