TOWN HALL PICTURES.

I The Italian struggle for freedom, iv which Garibaldi played such a conspicuous part, stands out as one of the most dramatic pages in history. A big drama, giving vivid pictures of the long struggle against oppression, formed the star attraction in the new programme which the Town Hall Picture Company presented to a crowded house last night. The stirring subject roused the crowd to great enthusiasm, and was voted one of the best photo plays which have come along this Avay for months past.. The Warwick Chronicle was more than usually attractive, and included some mast interesting topical events of note at Home. The Thanhouser Company secured a great success with "The Girl of the Cabaret," a clever drama, which shows how hard it is for a professional artist to break away from a life of excitement. The audience were delighted with tho scenic subject, "Athens," which revealed the glories of the monuments and marvellous architecture of the ancient Greek capital. The Vitagraph had the large house ■ laughing merrily at "One Can't Always Tell," a sparkling comedy in which the acting is splendid and the humour wholesome aud refined. "Three Mothers-in-law," "Pa Says," and "Bobby's Magi; Nickle" were a trio of comedies which kept the audience smiling broadly. This highly-diverting series will be repented to-night.
