ABOUT TWO HUNDRED AT WORK

All told, about 200 men are now at work in the Extended Mine at Huntly.
For two hours last evening and all day to-day the officials of the new union have been interviewing applications for membership, and 120 have been accepted and 34 rejected, and a number of applications have been held over
Preparations are now being made to open Ralph'B, tho other nuntly mine, and operations will be recommenced there within the next few days.
The police are now leaving the township, but a sufficient number will remain for a time to cope with any emergency that may arise.
No disturbance is expected, however.
