PAHIATUA SHOW.
RECORD ATTENDANCE
At the fifth annual show of tho Pahiatua A. and P. Association yesterday, there was a record attendance, and the -exhibition of stock was the finest ever seen in the Bush district.

In the pony section the prize winners were Miss Ethel Johnson, _ C. Mackie and Shaw and Son. The light horses prizes were secured by J. Doggett D. McKay and Miss N. Matthews.
Competitions. %__Dpen Hunters' Competition. — Erl Wfiiams (Masterton) Wildfire (M. Sharp) 1; W. Howard Booth's Hikoxangi 2; H. F. Cobb's Scotch Mist 3. Ladies' Hunting Competition and Best Lady Rider.— W. Howard Booth's (Carterton) Hikorangi (Miss Angus) 1; L. H. Collinson's (Palmerston North) Major Webb 2.
The walking competition was won by Miss Matthews' Valeeta, the maiden hunters' competition by N. Avery's Thunderbolt, the pony jump by L. G. Davidson's pony, and the ladies' driving competition by Mi3S Angus (formerly of Masterton). Oswald Johnson was pronounced to be.the beßt boy rider, and Annie McTavish the best girl rider. Dogs. The prizes in dogs were awarded to J. Sweeney, F. P. Lloyd, and Miss E. Bannister.
