CLEARING SALE AT CLAREVILLE.

Messrs W. and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report having held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr W. A. Harvey, Clareville, on Tuesday, when they offered all his dairy herd, store cattle, horses, sheep, and implements. There was a large attendance of buyers, and competition was yery keen throughout the sale. The Cows camp forward in extra good condition, and realised the good average of £7 Ss. All other stock and implements brought good prices. The prices for the cows ranged from £5 10s to £10 17s (3d, store cows £3 15s, cows and calves £4 15s, 15----moiiths heifers in calf £4 10s, bull £6, weaner heifers 245, weaner steers Mlu-t, black gelding £19,' bay gelding £25, brown mare £15 ss, 2-th ewes and wethers 15s, sow £2 6s, weancrs 15s 3d. Implements and sundries realised full values.
