MELBOURNE, Tuesday.

Mr Thomae Cadley, a declared Socialist and owner of four cottages, has died. He carried out his Socialist ideas by leaving threo cottages to their occupiers, who also receive a chare of the proceeds from the salo of the cottage wherein Mr Cadley lived. The balance of tho estate was distributed in legacies to friends.

One of his tenants was a jeweller, and Mr Cadley weekly chopped him a supply of wood so that he would not spoil his hands for the fine work.
