PERSONAL MATTERS.
Mr "B. Barrer, recently a resident of 'To Wharau, but now of Nelson, was a visitor to Masterton yesterday. Mr Arthur Everest Percy, son of Mrs .J. Percy, of Hutt; Road, Petone, died on Sunday afternoon, at the age of .nineteen years. . Mr H. D. De Lautour has finally decided to contest the Gisborne Beat against all-comers, in the interest of the Reform party at the next general cloi■tioß, states the "Gisborne. Times." Mr T. Horton has been nominated by the Ilawkc's Bay A. and P. Society aa a member of the Board of Agriculture which is to be sent up under tho Act passed during the last session of Parliament. The heartfelt sympathy ot a large circle of friends will be extended lo Mr and Mrs E. A. Baker, of Binuistor street, Masterton, in the loss of their infant son, whose death occurred at mid-day. At Pahiatua on Monday, Mr John Fitzgerald, son of Mr M. Fitzgerald, of Pahiatua, was married to Miss ■Catherine Quirke, youngest daughter of Mr and Mrs M. Quirke, of Pahiatua. Misses E. Fitzgerald and Vera Tanner TOre bridesmaids, and Mr J. Quirke l&lb man.
