£ress Association—Electric Telerraph—Copyright. (deceived Tuesday, at 9.25 a.m.) SYDNEY, Tuesday. Extensive damage has been caused by bush fires in the Upper Murray country. They were the most severe since the terrific fires nine years ago. At Doradora the iire burnt twentymiles of country, and was going for aweek.

One dairyman lost thirty cows, and others were entirely burnt out. At Wantagong the fire is still unchecked.

It is estimated that the losses run to ;ens of thousands of pounds.
