CLEARING SALE.

Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Masterton, report having held a most successful clearing sale of dairy stock, etc., on account of Mrs Marion Boss, on the farm, Featherston, when there was a good representative attendance. The cows came forward in good condition, and met with keen competition, the herd averaging £8 14s. The following were the prices:—Cows in profit £6 to £12 10s, cows at drop £8 5s to £10 10s, heifers at.drop £7 17s t> d to £8 17s 6d, heifers due April £4 2s 6d to £5 10s, yearling heifers £2 10s, Jersey bull £3 Sundries: Milk cart £8 2s 6d, do. .harness £3 ss, gig £6, do harnness £5 12s 6d.- Numerous other sundries and household furniture sold at full current rates.
