WYETH—BLATCHFORD,
SUCCESSFUL APPLICANTS
A wedding of considerable local interest took place yesterday afternoon, at St. Matthew's Church, when Mr Norman Robert Wyeth, the oldest son of Mr Thomas Wyeth, of .'/Rosebank,' Mount Bruce, was married to Miss Ida Catherine Blatchford, third daughter of Mr John Blatchford, of Lansdowne. The Rev. H. Watson officiated. The bride looked charming in silk poplin de chine, and wore the customary veil and carried a handsome shower bouquet. She was attended by the following bridesmaids: Miss Doris ford, Miss Madge Wyeth and little Olive Campbell, who were attired in Swiss muslin trimmed with shadow lace and carried bouquets of lycopodium and violets. Mr Thos. Wyeth, jun., was best man, and Mr Cyril Welch groomsman. The gift of the bridegroom to the bride was a set of furs, . and to the bridesmaids amethyst and pearl brooch-
es. A largely attended reception was afterwards held in the Arcadia tea rooms. The young couple were the recipients of numerous and costly.presents, and they left by the afternoon train for Wellington, wnere the honeymoon will be spent. ~, ■:,-:■-
