WEDDING.

ELCOATE—JAGO

At St. Matthew's Church, Masterton, to-day. Miss fOileen Ada Jago, youngest daughter of Mrs M. H. Jago.'of Masterton, was married to Mr Francis Heath Elcoate, son of the late Kobert J. Elcoate, of Melbourne. The Rev. Herbert Watson, vicar of St. Matthew's, officiated.

The bride ,who was given away by her brother, Mr W. S. Jago, wore a gown of white .satin draped with Honiton lace. He: , tulle veil was arranged over a bandeau of orange blossom and Lily of the Valley. She carried a shower bouquet. She was attended by Miss Inez Herrmann, of Wellington, and two little girls, Miss Alice Eton (her niece) and Miss Una James. The former wore ivory satin eharmeuse, with an overdress of lace and touches of pale blue, hat of golden brown velours with pale blue feathers, and bouquet of golden brown chrj'santhemums. The latter wore frocks of white satin with.fichus of white niuon edged with lace, and fastened with a bunch of tiny pink rosebuds, Juliet caps, and they carried posies of pale pink rosebuds, veiled with chiffon. Mr E. J. Brown acted as best man.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the residence of Mr W. S. Jago, Essex street.

Mr and Mrs Elcoate left by tho afternoon train, en route for Auckland and Rotorua.

The bride went away in a mole costume, grey felt hat, with ostrich plumes. She wore a set of fox furs, the gift of the bridegroom.
