REVENGE THE OBJECT.

(Received Thursday, at 9.20 a.m.) VIENNA, Wednesday.

Kunschak, an ironworker, supposed to be a brother of the leader of the Christian Socialists, followed Schumeir from a meeting and shot him in the ear with a pietol.

He admitted that the object was revenge. He declares that he was boycotted, and was unable to get work owing to his expulsion from the Socialist organisation on suspicion of securing the arrest of workmen.
