ST. PATRICK'S CHURCH.
ANNUAL MEETING OF PARISH-
lONERS.
The annual meeting of tho parishioners of St. Patrick's Church was held in the schoolroom last evening, tho Rev. Dean McKenna presiding over a large attendance. The chairman said he was pleased to see that the interest in Church matters was growing. He road the following statement of tho finances:—Church — Receipts, £160 S.s 6d; expenditure, £191 16s Id; debit balance, £31 13s 7d. School: Receipts, £205 2s sd; expenditure £197 9s 6d; credit balance £7 12s lid. Fish ponds property account: Receipts, £2175; expenditure, £2191 17s lid; debit balance for the year, £16 17s lid. The balance-sheet was adopted. The Dean said he was afraid the annual picnic would have to be abandoned this year, owing to certain difficulties. A concert and social to follow would be held on St. Patrick's Day, and in this connection ho would undertake personally to pay the expense of obtaining performers. Ho urged the ladies to unite to make tho gathering a success in order that the Church might be free of debt before ho left for the Old Country.
The following committee was elected: —Messrs J. C. Cooper, 11. J. O'Leary, J. O'Dowd, B. 'Chapman, .1. A. McEwen, J. C. McKillop, J. Kelliher, and J. Matthews.
