The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., havo received tlie following cablegram from thoir London house:—The sales progress firmly. Tliero is a decreased American demand for crossbred wool. As compared with last sales' closing rates price- aro lower by about par to five per cent, for medium and line grease crossbred: higher by about live per com., for merino scoured, greasy crossbred iambs, groasy merino and scoured crossbred; higher by about par to live per cent, for lambs coarse greasy crossbred and crossbred and slipe.
