The Admiralty lias decided that the first and second'battle squadrons shall consist of Dreadnoughts and ships of the Lord Nelson class (10,500 tous), with a third squadron of eight ships of the King Edward VII. class (1(5,350 tous), and a fourth squadron which at the outset will bo composed of vessels of the Duncan type (14,000 tons). These squadrons will form the first fleet. There will be a fifth squadron ot eight Formidabies (15,000 tons), and a seventh comprising eight Majesties (14,900 tons). These changes will be effected m the course of next month. It is not regarded as necessary to complete the sixth squadron, or to form an eighth at present.
