OAMARU, Friday. Th is morning a deputation waited on the Prime Minister with reference to tlie admission of New Zealand potatoes into Australia. The reply received was sympathetic, the Minister saying that he would communicate with the • Commonwealth Government and in addition would arrange to have the Government graders at the various ports registered for tlie purposes of tho Act. The necessary Order-in-Council would be gazetted in a few days.
