Mr Riley, of Messrs Riley and Co., estate agents, Homebush, New South Wales, who caused °a shocking explosion, wrecking a now shop aud shattering the windows of buildings, by lighting a spirit lamp in a room in which gas was escaping, has succumbed to his injuries.

An earlier message stated that, two mon wore seriously injured, whilst a third, who was blown across the road, escaped practically unhurt.
